Journey of a Journalist

I am finishing up my last semester as a communication student at George Mason University. While my concentration (and original career intention) is public relations, I found myself relishing my journalism classes and became more excited about writing news and feature articles than anything else. I recently declared a minor in electronic journalism and now have the opportunity to throw myself into writing as my final semester consists of journalism courses.

In addition to my education in journalism and PR, I have working experience with social media development and implementation, marketing research, public relations and internal communications campaigns.

My hobbies include salsa dancing, instructing pilates, training my canine and pretending I am a professional chocolatier.
